Museo Civico Archeologico
È stato aperto nel 2002 all'interno della storica Villa Adele. Esso mostra i principali reperti storici di Anzio dal suo inizio fino al periodo del suo grande splendore durante l'Impero Romano. I visitatori possono ammirare la necropoli della Protostoria, l'era Repubblicana, evidenza dell'impero romano e dei complessi delle costruzioni pubbliche e private sia a partire dalla tarda era Repubblicana che imperiale. Di particolare interesse sono i mosaici e i dipinti della Villa Imperiale e le numerose statue, reperti archeologici che testimoniano l'esistenza, nei tempi antichi, di clienti sofisticati e benestanti. Una stanza del museo è interamente dedicata sui ritrovamenti emersi dal mare, mentre un'altra è stata dedicata all'evidenza numismatica. Fin dal suo inizio, il Museo Archeologico ha ospitato esibizioni di progetti nazionali e internazionali, per esempio attività culturali e educative, con l'obiettivo di diffondere la conoscenza dell'area storica.
The archaelogical Museum opened in 2002 inside the historic Villa Adele, it displays the main historical artifacts of ancient Antium from its beginnings to the period of its greatest splendor under Roman Imperial rule. Inside the exhibition visitors can admire finds from the Protohistoric necropolis, Republican era votive offerings, evidence of an Imperial era cemetery and of public and private buildings complexes from both the late Republican and Imperial eras. Of particular interest are the mosaics and paintings from the Villa Imperiale and the numerous statues and architectural artifacts that document the existence, in ancient times, of wealthy and sophisticated clients. One room of the museum is entirely dedicated to finds discovered after being submerged by the sea, while another has been exhibitions of national and international projects as well as cultural and educational activities aimed at disseminating knowledge of the historical area.
Das Archäologische Museum wurde 2002 in der historischen Villa Adele eröffnet. Es zeigt die wichtigsten historischen Funden des antiken Antium, von seinen Gründung bis zur Zeit seiner größten Expansion unter kaiserlicher Schirmherrschaft. Die Besucher haben die Möglichkeit um die Nekropolen der Frühgeschichte, die republikanische Zeit zu sehen, die, ab der spätrepublikanische-kaiserliche Zeit, den Nachweis von den öffentlichen Gebäude während dem römische Imperium. Von besonderem Interesse sind die Mosaike und Gemälde aus der Villa Imperiale (die sogenannte Villa des Nero) und die zahlreichen Statuen und architektonischen Reste, Beweise für die Existenz einer wohlhabenden und anspruchsvollen Klasse in der Antike. Ein Raum des Museums ist ganz den runden aus dem Meer gewidmet, während ein anderer numismatische Zeugnisse zeigt. Seit seiner Gründung hat das Archäologische Museum zahlreiche Ausstellungen von nationalem und internationalem Rang veranstaltet und macht es sich zur Aufgabe durch kulturelle und didaktische Aktivitatën die Kenntnisse über die lange und interessante Geschichte des Gebietes zu vertiefen.
